Reproductive Health campaigns
Inspired by the patients I saw in the sexual health clinic in my clinical practice I wanted to improve Sexual Health Outcomes so I conceptualised and sourced funding to and implemented various awareness building initiatives to achieve this.
Aim
I wanted to improve contraception awareness and to dispel myths surrounding contraception use in order to reduce unplanned pregnancies in the Caribbean.
solution
Using social media, traditional media, in person workshops, think tanks, website and app, to provide information to different audiences about contraception and family planning.
result
Engagement on Social Media of over 50,000 people across the Caribbean, led the involvement of 13 organisations, hosted over 20 workshops/trainings including with an underground LGBT+ group, media interviews had an assumed reach of 300,000.
